SETUP OF THE AVAILABLE HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM UNDER THE EDUCATION SERVICES CONTRACTING SCHEME
1 . Independent Learning Preparedness Assessment
Students who wish to be involved in the Open up High School System shall take the Independent Learning Readiness Examination to be implemented by the college, the outcomes of which shall be the basis pertaining to placing them inside the appropriate learning mode: a. Learners, who are not but ready for independent learning, are placed in the change program that will provide a bridging curriculum centered on the development of the learning-to-learn expertise. The program can be school-based, teacher-guided, and is self-paced. There is no definite time period required for completing this method. As soon as scholars who are put under the direction of the teacher have obtained adequate competence of the learning-to-learn skills, chances are they can move to the next level.
w. When the scholars are assessed to be nearly ready for self-employed learning, then they may be put into the merged learning program when undertaking the required subjects. This is a combination of school-based, face-to-face learning and distance learning or home training.
